About the artist
In 2015, I somehow came upon the idea to learn metalsmithing. I learned to craft silver and gold jewelry with fancy-shaped hammers, tiny files, a trusty jeweler's saw, and actual fire. Why the idea didn't occur to me after a lifetime of drawing, watercolor painting, beaded jewelry, glass-blowing, tattooing, knitting, sewing, and a degree in graphic technology/design I will never know, but here I am.
I make all my jewelry at my little house, in a small river valley, nestled in the Cascade mountains of Washington state.
